Mumbai: Bollywood’s desi girl Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ love story began with a Twitter message and today, they are one of the most loved celebrity couples in the tinsel vile.
The couple has never shied from expressing their love and admiration for each other in public and on social media platforms too.
Now, in her recent Instagram post, Priyanka shared that Nick is her answered prayer and she’ll always remain her husband’s girl.
Gushing about her husband Nick, Priyanka wrote, “I’ll always be my husband’s girl. Not because it’s easy, but because it’s sacred. God knew I needed someone patient enough to understand me, strong enough to carry what I can’t say out loud, gentle enough to love me through every storm. He’s not just my partner. He’s my answered prayer.”
Recently, Nick went gaga over Priyanka’s stunning look from the Varanasi title launch event, calling it “breathtaking” and declaring his wife as his “desi girl”.
Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in both Christian and Hindu ceremonies at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace on December 1 and 2, 2018.
In January 2022, the couple welcomed their daughter Malti Marie via surrogacy.
On the work front, Priyanka will be seen in Frank E. Flowers’s action-drama ‘The Bluff.’ The film also features Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green and Temuera Morrison in lead roles, and is expected to hit theatres in 2026.
She is also making her comeback to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s ‘Varanasi’ which stars Mahesh Babu as Rudhra, Priyanka as Mandakini, and Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist, Kumbha.
The film is slated to release on Sankranti 2027.
