Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange warning for nine districts of Odisha till 7.30 pm on Saturday.
Moderate thunderstorm/lightning with gusty wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph and moderate to heavy rain may affect some parts of Ganjam, Balasore, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Nuapada, Angul, Sundargarh, Balangir and Deogarh.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places accordingly.
