Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow warning for 19 districts of Odisha till 1.30 pm on Thursday.
Light to moderate rain may affect some parts of Bargarh, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Boudh, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada and Jagatsinghpur districts.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and to move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes and escape from waterlogging.
