IMD Issues Yellow Warning For Fog For These Odisha Districts; Check Here

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued ‘yellow’ warning for dense fog over several parts of Odisha on three days, January 17-19, in its midday bulletin on Sunday.

The IMD forecast dry weather in most parts of Odisha with a gradual dip in night temperature by 3-4 degrees Celsius over the next three days.

Jan 17 (8.30 am)-Jan 18 (8.30 am)

Dry weather most likely to prevail over Odisha. Shallow to moderate fog very likely at a few places over South Interior Odisha and North Interior Odisha.

Yellow warning: Dense fog very likely at one or two places over Koraput, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Bolangir, Boudh and Sonepur.

Jan 18 (8.30 am)-Jan 19 (8.30 am)

Dry weather most likely to prevail over Odisha. Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places over South Interior Odisha.

Yellow warning: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Angul and Dhenkanal.

Jan 19 (8.30 am)-Jan 20 (8.30 am)

Dry weather most likely to prevail over Odisha. Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places over South Interior Odisha and elsewhere.

Yellow warning: Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Keonjhar.

Jan 20 (8.30 am)-Jan 21 (8.30 am)

Dry weather most likely to prevail over Odisha. Shallow to moderate fog very likely to over Coastal Odisha.
