Rayagada: Two express trains had to stop due to failure of pantograph which connects the engine to the electric lines in Kashipur area of Odisha’s Rayagada district on Saturday.
Sources said Intercity Express and Hirakhand Express trains were halted at Leliguma since morning.
The Intercity express from Rourkela and was proceeding to Jagdalpur. As it approached Leliguma in Kashipur block of Rayagada district, the pantograph failed which resulted in the stopping of the train.
The train services in Koraput-Rayagada (KR) route were halted due to the failure of Pantograph. Intercity Express was enroute from Rourkela to Jagdalpur while the Hirakhand Express was proceeding from Bhubaneswar to Jagdalpur.
