Washington: Donald Trump is furious after Iran and Israel broke a ceasefire hours after he announced it earlier on Tuesday.
The US President accused both countries of violating the ceasefire, but was particularly annoyed with Israel after it announced plans for major new strikes on Tehran.
In a stern all-caps warning, Trump virtually ordered Israel to “bring pilots home, now!”
“ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES,” he wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.
In another post, Trump said Israel is not going to attack Iran. “All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly ‘Plane Wave’ to Iran. Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect! Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump said.
Then, before heading for the NATO summit in The Hague, Trump told reporters he was “not happy” with either side, and was “really unhappy” with Israel, which he said had “unloaded” straight after agreeing to it.
“They have been fighting so long and so hard they don’t know what f*** they are doing.. do you understand that,” Trump roared before boarding his plane.

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz earlier announced he has directed Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to carry out powerful strikes on key targets in central Tehran, following what he described as Iran’s breach of the ceasefire.
