Jammu Returnee Among 85 New COVID-19 Cases In Cuttack City; Affected Tally Rises To 1879

Cuttack: The Millenium City reported 85 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, which pushed the affected tally to 1879 on Wednesday.

According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 27 are home quarantine and 13 institutional quarantine cases while 24 fresh cases have surfaced from Jalua Sahi containment zone.

With this, the total case in this containment zone has mounted to 129.

The remaining 21 are local contact cases.

The isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital has reported eight more positive cases. A Jammu returnee and another with travel history to another district have also tested positive for the virus.

The CMC also informed about another 99 patients recovering from the infection.

With 10 deaths and 1013 recoveries, Cuttack city now has 856 active cases.
