Bhubaneswar: Lyricist poet Jawed Akhtar and lyricist Sameer have indicated they are in no way involved with PM Narendra Modi, the upcoming biopic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The trailer of the movie, which traces the journey from Narendra Modi’s childhood to adolescence to becoming the prime minister of the country, was released on Friday and immediately went viral.
The credits show that the lyrics for the movie have been penned by Javed Akhtar, Prasoon Joshi, Sameer and others.

Lyricist Sameer Anjaan tweeted roughly the same in Hindi. “Mujhe hairat hai apana naam pm narendra Modi film me dekh karr , Maine aisi kisi film me koi gaana nahi likha hai ..,” he said.
Actor Vivek Oberoi plays Prime Minister Modi in the film, which also explores Modi’s tenure as the chief minister of Gujarat.
The trailer, which was released a day before Holi, also sparked a meme fest online.
