New Delhi: Kajol, Suriya and Reema Kagti are among the 397 Indian celebrities invited by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to join the Oscar organiser’s membership ranks. The class of 2022 includes 71 Oscar nominees and 15 winners.
Actor Ajay Devgn seems is immensely proud of his wife Kajol. Here’s what he tweeted.

Many other Indian artists, including Sushmit Ghosh and Rintu Thomas, have been invited to join. Aditya Sood and PR and Marketing professional Sohini Sengupta are the other two Indians to be invited. Other celebs among the 397 artists are Ariana DeBose, Billie Eilish, Jamie Dornan and Troy Kotsur, amongst others.
