Katrina Kaif Declined A Hollywood Offer Due To ‘Circumstances’; What Was Her Compulsion?

New Delhi: Katrina Kaif, who has made a mark for herself in Bollywood, recently opened up about her Hollywood debut. According to a report in Variety, she was offered a Hollywood film but rejected it due to some circumstances. She added, “I do believe it will happen, and I think that will be a whole new leaf in my book, so to speak, and really exciting.”

Katrina Kaif began her career with the film ‘Boom,’ which was a flop. Her second Bollywood release, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya with Salman, made her a recognised face in the industry. Since then, her hard work, dedication, and passion led her to become the highest-paid actress in Bollywood with a net worth of Rs 263 crore.

Looking back on her journey, Katrina had earlier revealed she initially wanted to be a model in Mumbai, but acting happened unexpectedly. She shared, “When I started off as a model in Bombay, my intention was to be a model. My role models were Madhu Sapre and Lakshmi Menon. Those were the supermodels of that time. And even Malaika, actually. She was still modelling at that time. They were the women I looked up to. And that’s why I wanted to be a model,” she told Mashable.

Katrina Kaif was last seen in Merry Christmas alongside Vijay Sethupathi. Now, she will be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara with Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt.
