Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s ace para-athlete Suchitra Parida delivered a stellar performance to claim gold at the Khelo India Para Games 2025 in New Delhi.
The 31-year-old Suchitra achieved a throw of 18.57 metres to win the Women’s F-55 Javelin event to give Odisha their second gold after Jayanti Behera (Women’s 100m T47 category).

Para-archer Payal Nag added a silver to Odisha’s tally as she finished second in the Women’s Compound Open event.
Sabitri Behera and Kanhu Soren then bagged a bronze medal each in Women’s 50 Kg Powerlifting and the Men’s T11 Long jump.
