Bhubaneswar: Actor Abhishek Bachchan recently sparked social media buzz after liking an Instagram post, discussing the challenges of divorce and the increasing trend of ‘grey divorces.’
The single ‘like’ had led to widespread rumours about potential troubles in his marriage to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, especially after the latter arrived alone with their daughter Aaradhya to the wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Abhishek had posed for paparazzi with his parents and Shweta Bachchan Nanda’s family.
However, a Reddit thread provide a crucial piece of the puzzle and Abhishek’s intentions. The Redditors claim that Abhishek liked the post because of Zirak Marker, a prominent mental health expert and longtime friend of Aishwarya, who contributed to the article the Instagram post refers to.
Marker had shared the screen with Aishwarya on the television show ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai’ hosted by Farooq Sheikh years ago.
Since the post for the article in The Indian Express’ Eye magazine lists Marker as one of the contributors, Abhishek’s ‘like’ is now being interpreted as a gesture of appreciation for the inputs from Marker rather than a signal of personal marital discord.
