Know Night Curfew Timings In Odisha, Date For Opening Of Educational Institutions & Malls
Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy on Tuesday said that night curfew in Odisha will be in force from 9 pm to 5 am.
He further said that schools and colleges in the state will remain closed till August 31. However, educational institutions will be allowed to conduct examinations and carry out evaluations, he added.
Cinema halls, gym and swimming pools will also remain shut till the end of August.
The decision to open malls will be taken by local authorities, he added.

The chief secretary said that COVID care homes will be opened in every panchayat and these will be managed by sarpanchs for isolating symptomatic persons.
Clear instructions have been issued to sarpanchs and collectors to ensure 100 per cent compliance of quarantine norms, he said.
He stressed strict enforcement of COVID-19 management guidelines in the month of July and zero tolerance for violation of the norms.
“Heads of government and private offices will face legal action under the Disaster Management Act if found guilty of not enforcing social distancing and health safety measures and in case of COVID19 outbreak,” he added.
Tripathy said that the new guidelines for Unlock 2.0 have been prepared by taking into consideration central guidelines, ground situation, research and feedback from media.
