Indore: A woman, who claimed to have vital information about Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, demanded police security here in Madhya Pradesh.
According to Deputy Inspector General Harinarayanchari Mishra, the woman is a resident of Mumbai currently staying with her relatives in Indore, who recently met him.
“She claimed that she knew Rajput for a long time, and has some vital information about the actor’s death,” he said without revealing the identity of the woman.
“She said she will reveal it in a factual manner at an appropriate forum on demand. She has expressed the need for security and we have assured her to provide the same as and when required in a swift manner,” the police officer was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
The woman, who was part of some news debates post-Rajput’s death, also alleged that her Facebook account was hacked and the cyber cell of police is conducting an investigation into it, another cop said.
Rajput was found hanging at his house in Mumbai’s Bandra area on June 14.
