Balangir: Police on Friday recovered body of a man, who allegedly committed suicide over marital discord by hanging himself, from a rented accommodation at Rameshwaranagar Pada in Balangir district.
The deceased was identified as Prahallad Mishra.
According sources, Prahallad had shifted to Rameshwaranagar Pada after his wife left for her parent’s house following frequent quarrels.
His family had been trying to contact him for the past few days but in vain. Concerned about his well being, they decided to visit him. On reaching the place, they found foul smell emanating from the house and alerted police.
Balangir Town police broke open the door and found him hanging from the ceiling.
The body was later sent for post-mortem.
