Sonepur: The Sonepur district administration on Wednesday announced mandatory institutional/home quarantine for people returning from 13 hotspot districts of Odisha.
Those travelling to Sonepur from Ganjam, Gajapati, Khurda, Cuttack, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Puri, Kendrapasa, Bhadrak and Balangir districts will undergo mandatory institutional/home quarantine for a period of 14 days on the advice of the Medical Officer, an official order said.
The district administration has also decided to impose curfew in the district from 7 pm to 7 pm and weekend shutdown.
Sonepur has so far reported 44 COVID-19 cases.
