Nuapada: A Special Operations Group (SOG) busted a Maoist camp in Kataphara forest under Boden police limits in Nuapada.
The police recovered explosives and several other articles used by the Maoists. Based on inputs about the movement of Maoists in the forest by a reliable source, six teams of SOG jawans led by the Nuapada SP, launched a massive combing operation on February 1.
The camp, which belongs to the Mainpur-Nuapada Division, was finally busted on February 3. Five tiffin bombs, three UPS batteries, two kg gun powder, electrical wires, uniforms, red flag and many other articles were seized.
