Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorms with lightning accompanied by gusty winds have been forecast in parts of Odisha from May 15 to 17.
The maximum temperature is likely to rise by 3-4 degrees Celsius at many places over the districts of interior Odisha and by 2-3 degrees Celsius at a few places over the districts of coastal Odisha during the next two days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore.
May 14 (8.30 am) to May 15 (8.30 am)
Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Dhenkanal, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati and Ganjam.
