Mitsubishi India has reportedly requested the Indian government for relaxation on the BS6 deadline which are coming into effect from April 1, 2020.
Only BS6 emission compliant vehicles will be sold from this date.

Mitsubishi currently sells two models in India – Pajero Sport and Outlander. Both of these SUVs are imported from Japan as completely built units (CBU).
The Outlander which is petrol-engined requires minor modifications to become BS6 ready.
Most manufacturers have already rolled out BS6 compliant models.
