Nagarjuna’s Younger Son Akhil Trolled For 9-Year Age Gap With Fiancée Zainab
Mumbai: Senior actor Nagarjuna had recently shared the news of his younger son Akhil Akkineni’s engagement with Zainab Ravdjee on social media.
Amid congratulatory messages for the couple, a section of netizens didn’t approve of the nine-year age gap between Akhil (30) and Zainab (39), and started trolling them.
Akhil, who didn’t seem to be in a mood to hit back at the trollers, turned off the comments section.
Zainab, daughter of Zulfi Ravdjee, is an artist with bases in India, Dubai and London. Zulfi has strong connections in the film industry and politics. He owned the iconic Odeon Theatre in Hyderabad, which is now a multiplex.
Akhil met Zainab during horse-riding practice and the duo soon fell in love, their 9-year age gap and different religious backgrounds notwithstanding.
The Akkineni family is currently busy preparing for the wedding of Nagarjuna’s elder son Naga Chaitanya, who will be exchanging wedding vows with Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4 at the Annapurna Studios.
