Bhubaneswar: The age of instant loans has come. Nationalised banks will now give a loan up to Rs 50,000 in to Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in 30 seconds flat! Bank customers will get a loan of up to Rs 1 crore in 59 seconds!
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan made this announcement at the launch of a mega customer outreach initiative, ‘Grahak Mela Camp’ on Friday. “A person will be provided with an instant loan if he has his/her bank account active for three consecutive months, the Aadhaar number, permanent address and the phone number,” he informed.

Even Mudra loans will be available in 30 seconds, he said.
On the occasion, 2604 people were provided with the loan of Rs 166.11 crore.
