Netizens Threaten To Boycott Alia-Starrer ‘Sadak 2’, Directed By Dad Mahesh
Mumbai: Following Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide, actress Alia Bhatt and her father Mahesh Bhatt have been at the receiving end of netizens’ ire on social media platforms.
People have been brutally trolling Alia for belittling Sushant on Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’, while dad Mahesh has been slammed for his alleged involvement in the late actor’s break-up with girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.
Now, netizens are threatening to boycott the father-daughter duo in their soon-to-be-released film ‘Sadak 2.’
Earlier on Monday, Mahesh released the first poster of ‘Sadak 2’, which stars both his daughters Pooja and Alia.
Bhatt had captioned the poster as: “When you come to the end, you discover that there is no END.”
Soon, netizens took to the comment section of the filmmaker’s post and threatened to boycott his film.
Here’s what the netizens posted:

Besides Alia Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt, ‘Sadak 2’ stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles.
Mahesh Bhatt recently confirmed that the film will be released on digital platform in the wake of the ongoing pandemic.
“I have got no option, so I will definitely consider OTT. We have not made this film to put it in lock and key. We want to bring it to people so that they enjoy the film,” he said.
