Bhubaneswar: The Nayapalli Police arrested nine gamblers from a hotel in the VIP Colony in the IRC Village area in Bhubaneswar late on Friday night.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided the hotel and arrested the nine gamblers and seized cash worth Rs 1.5 lakh and three cars from their possession.
Most of the arrested persons are businessmen and contractors, police said.
