Bhubaneswar: Acting on the guidelines of the Union HRD Ministry, the Sainik School, Bhubaneswar has taken appropriate steps by conducting online classes to ensure seamless learning for its cadets to pursue their CBSE courses for 2020-2021 academic session during the nationwide lockdown in the wake of the outbreak of the COVID-19.

Briefing the media, the school authorities said that all the cadets from Class-VII to XII are making the best use of the digital platform– “Extra Marks” made available for their CBSE curriculum as well as for the online coaching for the upcoming UPSC-NDA entrance examination for the Class-XII cadets. As the school is closed due to the lockdown, necessary arrangements have been made to provide the textbook sets to all the cadets by Indian Postal Services.

They also said that the school has also made arrangements to provide special coaching to the pass-out students to qualify for the forthcoming UPSC-NDA entrance examination.

The parents and members of the Old Boys Association (OBA) of the school have highly appreciated the school administration and teachers for their timely and proactive steps to carry out this online interactive and video-enabled remote learning activity.
