New Delhi: The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has asked people across the country to avoid panic buying of fuel. It stated that there was enough stock of petrol, diesel, and LPG available at all outlets. Moreover, its supply operations were running without any problems, the company assured.

Earlier, IOCL shares were trading in the red today (May 9). Its stock were down 1%. The IOCL statement comes in the wake of escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.
The clarification came after videos and posts started showing long queues at petrol pumps, especially in some parts of northern India, surfaced on social media.
