Bhubaneswar: After a brief spell of heatwave, there may be some respite from Monday as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted nor’wester activity, which is locally called Kalbaisakhi, in Odisha.
The weather agency has issued yellow warning of thunderstorm accompanied by lighting and gusty winds in several parts of the state till April 4. There is also a forecast for light rain or thundershower till April 6 with little change thereafter. However, there will be no large change in the day and night temperatures during the next 5 days, it added.
