Ahead of February 8 Delhi polls, badminton champion Saina Nehwal joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday at the party headquarters in New Delhi in the presence National General Secretary Arun Singh.
One of the most popular sportspersons in India with a huge fan following and brand value, she is likely to campaign for the saffron party during the elections in the National Capital.

A former world number one and Arjuna awardee, the 29-year-old shuttler is an Olympic medalist and has won over 24 international titles. She is currently ranked ninth.
