Boudh: After a whirlwind tour to the undivided Koraput district, senior IAS officer and secretary to the Chief Minister (Transformation and Initiatives) V Karthikeyan Pandian visited Boudh district to oversee implementation of the 5T guidelines of Mo Sarkar programme launched by the Odisha government on October 2.
Accompanied by the chief secretary Asit Tripathy and Mission director, National Health Mission (NHM), Shalini Pandit, Pandian visited the district headquarters hospital and interacted with the patients and took their feedback on the services provided to them. He also had a meeting with the Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) and the doctors about the existing infrastructure of the district headquarters hospital, Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Community Health Centres (CHCs) in the district.
On the occasion, Pandian and his other team members had their lunch at the Aahaar Centre.
“The 5T secretary paid Rs 5 towards Aahaar meal. He expressed satisfaction over the food served and suggested further improvement in its quality,” Boudh collector Laxmidhar Mahapatra told the media.
