Odisha Assembly Adjourned Till 11.30 AM Amid BJP, BJD Uproar
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Assembly was adjourned till 11.30 am amid uproar by the BJP members, alleging a nexus between the ruling BJD and the opposition Congress.
As soon as the Question Hpour began, the BJP members led by the leader of the party’s legislature KV Singhdeo rushed to the well of the House alleging a close nexus between the BJD and Congress. On the other hand, the BJD members also shouted slogans against the step-motherly attitude of the Centre towards Odisha.
Amid the uproar, Speaker Pradip Amat adjourned the House till 11.30 am.
Soon after the adjournment of the House, the BJP members staged a dharna near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi inside the Assembly premises.
