Bhubaneswar: The state government on Tuesday announced to distribute rice and pulses to the beneficiaries of the State Food Security Scheme free of cost for five months from July.
Chairing a review meeting of the COVID-19 situation in the state, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik directed the officials to supply five kg of rice per person and one kg of pulses per family covered under the scheme at free of cost from July to November.
