Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed pride over indigenous chip designs developed by NIT Rourkela featuring among the Made-in-India semiconductor chips showcased at SEMICON India.
In a post on X, Majhi described the achievement as a moment of immense pride for every Odia and a testament to the talent, innovation and research capabilities of the state’s institutions.
Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the dedicated efforts of Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the country is steadily advancing towards a strong and self-reliant semiconductor ecosystem, he said.
Congratulating the scientists, researchers and the entire NIT Rourkela team for their achievement the Chief Minister said Odisha is proud to see its talent contributing to India’s semiconductor journey and the nation’s march towards technological self-reliance.
