Bhubaneswar: After a gap of more than two months, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will hold the public grievance hearing on Monday, April 27, at the former Government Primary School in Unit-2, Ashok Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
The hearing is scheduled from 7 am to 12 noon, during which the Chief Minister will personally listen to various complaints and grievances of the people.
Online registration for the grievance hearing will open on Wednesday, April 22, at 11 am. Citizens can register through the Janasunani portal or the Janasunani mobile application to request a meeting with the Chief Minister. Once registered, applicants will receive a confirmed date and time slot. They must reach the venue at the allotted time with valid identity proof and details of their grievance to present their case directly to the Chief Minister, an official release issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department said.
Earlier sessions in Bhubaneswar include the 17th public grievance hearing on February 10, 16th on January 5, the first of the year, the 15th on November 24, 2025. Subsequent hearings had to be cancelled since the Assembly was in session.
During the last public grievance hearing, Majhi had said that the structured grievance redressal had yielded tangible results, with 94 per cent of complaints disposed of by then. He added that special emphasis has been laid on grievance redressal under the government’s 15-point directive aimed at making the administration more citizen-friendly in the new year.
