Odisha CM Praises SP-Doctor For Attending To Accident Victims
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday used his Twitter handle to praise Rayagada superintendent of police (SP) Saravana Vivek M for saving the lives of three accident victims in the district. The SP is also a doctor.
Sources said the young doctor SP was on his way back to Rayagada from Gunupur after an official tour on Monday when he saw three men lying unconscious on the road. He provided them first aid and later shifted them to Kolnara Community Health Centre in his official vehicle. At the health centre, the SP himself started their treatment and as the condition of one of them deteriorated, Vivek made arrangements to shift him to the district headquarters hospital.
