Odisha COVID-19 Toll Crosses 500 Mark, Khurda & Puri Report Two Deaths Each
Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 death toll in Odisha rose to 503 on Tuesday with 11 more patients succumbing to the infection in the last 24 hours.
The Health Department identified the deceased as:
1. A 74-year-old female from Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
2. A 60-year-old male from Ganjam district who was also suffering from uncontrolled diabetes.
3. A 35-year-old male from Jagatsinghpur district who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease.
4. A 40-year-old male from Kandhamal district who was also suffering from Compression Fracture of D12 Vertebra.
5. A 55-year-old female from Khurda district who was also suffering from Diabetes and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
6. A 73-year-old male from Khurda district who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
7. An 80-year-old male from Mayurbhanj district.
8. A 60-year-old female from Mayurbhanj district who was also suffering from Hypertension, Cerebrovascular Accident and Left Hemiplegia.
9. A 40-year-old male from Puri district who was also suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension and Morbid Obesity.
10. An 85-year-old male from Puri district.
11.A 45-year-old male from Rayagada district who was also suffering from Diabetes and Hypertension.
With these 11 new casualties, the virus has so far claimed 191 lives in Ganjam district, followed by 67 in Khurda, 36 in Sundargarh, 32 in Cuttack, 25 in Rayagada, 18 in Gajapati, 14 in Sambalpur, 15 each in Puri and Nayagarh, 11 in Balasore, 10 in Kandhamal, nine in Bargarh, eight in Bhadrak, seven in Malkangiri , six each in Jajpur and Keonjhar, five each in Mayurbhanj and Balangir, four in Angul, three each in Koraput, Jagatsinghpur and Kendrapada, two each in Sonepur, Dhenkanal, Nabarangpur and Kalahandi and one in Jharsuguda.
