Jeypore: A farmer of Nakulaguda village under B Singpur police limits in Odisha’s Koraput district died on Tuesday after allegedly consuming poison.
According to locals, the farmer allegedly took the extreme step on Sunday over a loan burden of Rs 70,000. H was then rushed to Borigumma hospital in critical condition, but breathed his last while undergoing treatment.
