Bhubaneswar: The Union Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying has adjudged Odisha as the ‘Best Marine State’.
An award of Rs 10 lakh will be presented to the state government during the celebration of World Fisheries Day on November 21.
Apart from this, Kalahandi district has won the ‘Best Inland District’ award for which it will get Rs 3 lakh.
