Odisha Gets One More COVID-19 Testing Centre

Bhubaneswar: The Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar, had got the approval of Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, to conduct COVID-19 tests.

The testing will commence next week, a tweet by Health and Family Welfare Department said on Wednesday.

Director ILS Bhubaneswar has informed Principal Secretary Health @nbdhal that they have got permission of @DBTIndia to conduct COVID 19 testing. The testing will commence next week. @CMO_Odisha

This is the fourth centre in Odisha to conduct such tests.

Swab and blood samples of suspected cases are currently being sent to Regional Medical Research Centre, AIIMS-Bhubaneswar and SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
