Bhubaneswar: Five industrial projects worth Rs 1851.96 crore having employment potential for more than 1624 people were accorded in principle approval in the state level single window authority committee meeting held on digital mode on Friday.

Chairing the meeting, Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy directed IPICOL and other departments concerned to facilitate early grounding of the projects. ”Since Odisha is a power surplus State, the newly coming up industries should be motivated to source power from the GRID instead of setting up CPPs,” he said.
