Odisha Govt Reclassifies Depts For COVID-19 Management

Bhubaneswar: In view of the extended lockdown, the Odisha government on Friday modified its earlier order regarding classification of its different department for COVID-19 management. They have now been bracketed under critical and partially-critical categories.

According to the GA Department notification, Group-A officers of department under both categories will attend office. The attendance for Groups B, C and D employees of ‘Critical’ category departments will be 50 per cent on roster basis.

In case of the department under ‘Partially Critical’ category, only 33 per cent of Groups B, C and D employees of will attend office on roster basis.

The administrative departments will decide about the scale of operation in field offices of both categories, it added.

Earlier, the departments were classified into three categories – critical, partially critical and non-critical – and manpower deployment was done accordingly.
