Berhampur: Four persons were injured after the vehicle carrying Odisha MLA Purna Chandra Sethy hit an autorickshaw in Badapokharia area in Khurda district on Monday.
As per information, the BJP legislator from Khallikote was safe and escaped unhurt after the SUV hit the autorickshaw from behind near Badapokharia Chhak on the NH-16.

Sources said four persons, including the driver of the autorickshaw, sustained injuries, while the MLA escaped unhurt in the mishap.
The front portion of his vehicle has been damaged in the accident which took place when the legislator was proceeding to Bhubaneswar.
Sethy represents Khalikote Assembly constituency in Ganjam district. He was elected to the Assembly from Khalikote for third time in the 2024 elections
