Odisha Police Issues Cyber Fraud Alert
Bhubaneswar: With cyber fraud cases on the rise despite several measures taken by the police to educate people, Odisha Police on Tuesday issued a cyber fraud alert.
In its tweet Odisha Police stated: Do not call any unknown number to update your KYC. Ignore all such messages, as service providers never ask to call any such number.

A few days back Twin City Commissioner of Police (CP), Sudhanshu Sarangi had said Odisha has reported more than Rs 1.4 crore in the last month.
He had mentioned about 1207 fraud calls to Odisha. While about Rs 50 lakh fraud was reported in Bhubaneswar through 368 fraud calls and the rest amount was siphoned off through 839 fraud calls outside Bhubaneswar.
