Odisha: Several Trains Diverted, Cancelled Due To Agitation By Adivasi Kurmi Samaj

Bhubaneswar: In view of agitation by Adivasi Kurmi Samaj at Khemasuli Station in Kharagpur Division and at Kustaur Station in Adra Division under South Eastern Railway Jurisdiction, several north bound trains from and to East Coast Railway (ECoR) jurisdiction passing through Odisha have been partially affected resulting cancellation and diversion as per the following.

As per information from ECoR, following trains are being diverred:

1. 18478 Rishikesh-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express from Rishikesh on 4th April, 2023 will run on diverted route via Ib-Jharsuguda Road and Sambalpur.
2. 12802 New Delhi-Puri Purusottam Express from New Delhi on 4th April, 2023 will run on diverted route via Gomoh-Bhojudih-Adra-Midnapur and Hijli.
3. 12819 Bhubaneswar-Anand Vihar Odisha Sampark Kranti Express from Bhubaneswar on 5th April, 2023 will run on diverted route via Midnapur-Adra-Bhojudih-Gomoh.
4. 18006 Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express from Jagadalpur on 5th April, 2023 will run via Tata-Chandil-Purulia-Bokaro Steel City-Adra-Midnapur.
5. 18477 Puri-Rishikesha Kalinga Utkal Express from Puri on 5th April, 2023 will run via Sambalpur-Jharsuguda Road and Ib.
6. 22824 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express from New Delhi on 5th April 2023 will run on diverted route via Gomoh-Bhojudih-Adra-Midnapur-Hijli.
7. 18478 Rishikesh-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express from Rishikesh on 5th April, 2023 will run on diverted route via Ib-Jharsuguda Road and Sambalpur.

Cancellation of Trains:

1. 12801/12802 Puri-New Delhi-Puri Purusottam Express from both the directions on 5th April, 2023 will remain cancelled.
2. 18005 Howrah-Jagadalpur Samaleswari Express from Howrah on 5th & 6th April, 2023 will remain cancelled.
3. 22861 Howrah-Kantabanji Ispat Express from Howrah on 06.04.2023 will remain cancelled.
4. 22823 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express from Howrah on 06.04.2023 will remain cancelled.
5. 12872 Titilagarh-Howrah Ispat Express from Titilagarh on 06.04.2023 will remain cancelled.
6. 18006 Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express from Jagadalpur on 6th April, 2023 will remain cancelled.
7. 18477 Puri-Rishikesh Kalinga Utkal Express from Puri on 06.04.2023.
8. 12801 Puri-New Delhi Purusottam Express from Puri on 6th April, 2023 will remain cancelled.

Partial Cancellation of Trains:

1. 22606 Villupuram-Purulia Express from Villupuram on 5th April, 2023 will run up to Adra and will remain cancelled from Adra to Purulia.
2. 22605 Purulia-Villupuram Express from Purulia on 7th April, 2023 will originate from Adra instead of Purulia. This will remain cancelled from Purulia to Adra.
