Bhubaneswar: Results of 2026 Plus II (Class 12) examinations, conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, will be declared in the third week of May, School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond informed on Friday.
More than 4 lakh students appeared for the Plus II examinations, which commenced on February 18 and wrapped up on March 25, across 1,350 centres under strict security and CCTV surveillance. Answer sheet evaluation is currently in progress, with officials preparing the results for timely publication.
Gond further informed that the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, will officially declare the matric (Class 10) examination results on Saturday, May 2, at 4 pm. “Students can check their results online from 6 pm onwards on the board’s official website by entering their name and roll number. SMS facility is also available. Schools will be able to download the tabulation register (TR) from 7 pm,” he said.
The minister said that certificates will be issued in both Odia and English languages. “Special efforts have been made to eliminate spelling errors in students’ names, particularly in the Odia versions of the certificates,” he added.
This year’s Class 10 board exams were held from February 19 to March 2 across 3,082 examination centres in the state, with a total of 5,61,979 students appearing. Evaluation of the answer sheets was carried out by approximately 15,000 teachers at 51 designated centres.
