Nayagarh: The COVID-19 tally in Nayagarh touched 1009 on Sunday with a record 106 positive cases in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 27 have been reported from Odagaon, 18 from Nuagaon, 17 from Bhapur, 11 each from Daspalla and Ranpur, 10 from Khandapada, eight from Nayagarh municipality district, three from Nayagarh block, one from Gania, the administration tweeted.

With five deaths and 587 recoveries, Nayagarh district now has 415 active cases.
