Paradip: One person died while another sustained critical injuries in a road mishap near Paradip Terminal Road on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Dasarathi Singh and the injured person is Sonu Jadab. Both belong to Patna of Bihar. They are employees of the IFFCO Fertilizer Plant.

The accident took place when they were on their way to Paradip from IFFCO Square on a motor cycle. A tanker hit them from the rear. Dasarathi died on the spot and a critically injured Sonu was rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
n being informed, the police reached the spot and seized the tanker. Dasarathi’s body was sent for post-mortem. Further investigation into the matter is on.
