OPECA Plea To Hold Second Odisha JEE 2021 Dismissed By Supreme Court
New Delhi: The Supreme Court rejected a writ petition filed by the Orissa Private Engineering Colleges Association (OPECA) that sought a direction to the authorities of the Odisha government and Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee (OJEEC) to hold a second Special ‘OJEE 2021’ for admission to BTech (Engineering) and Lateral Entry (LE) courses.
The bench comprising Justices DY Chandrachud and AS Bopanna observed that via an October 25 order of a bench headed by Justice L Nageswara Rao, the top court had extended time for admission completion to the engineering degree courses till November 30, reported Live Law.
Again, on December 16, the top court’s three-judge bench granted an extension of time after the OPECA filed an application.
