New Delhi: The Indian government has decided to evacuate Indian nationals from Israel amid the escalating military conflict with Iran.
As part of ‘Operation Sindhu’, which began a day earlier with the evacuation of Indians from Iran, the Centre will now bring back those nationals who wish to leave Israel.
In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) stated that Indian nationals’ travel from Israel to India will be facilitated through the land borders and thereafter by air to India.
All Indian nationals have been asked to register themselves with the Embassy of India in Tel Aviv at — https://indembassyisrael.gov.in/indian_national_reg — if not already registered.

The Embassy also reiterated earlier advisories urging Indians to remain vigilant and strictly follow the safety guidelines issued by Israeli authorities and the Home Front Command.
The first batch of Indians from Iran — all of them students — landed in Delhi in the early hours of Thursday.
On the night of Wednesday-Thursday, Israeli Air Force launched a series of airstrikes deep inside Iranian territory, targeting nuclear infrastructure, missile production sites, and air defence systems.
Iran retaliated with a barrage of missile strikes in different Israeli locations, and hit one of the largest hospitals, injuring 47 people.
