Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi lauded the Indian Armed Forces for the success of Operation Sindoor in striking terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pak-occupied Kashmir.
The Chief Minister said India stands united and salutes the brave Armed Forces for the precision and resolve shown in Operation Sindoor.
“In our culture, ‘sindoor’ is not just a tradition, but a symbol of sacrifice and determination. This sentiment also resonates in the hearts of our soldiers. India is not just defending itself, but proactively working towards the complete eradication of terrorism. We salute the bravery of our armed forces. We stand with our army. We believe in the victory of our army. Jai Hind. Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” the CM said in a post on X.
Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida also hailed the operation.
“India stands firm in its commitment to sovereignty and security. I salute our brave Armed Forces for their precision and unwavering resolve in Operation Sindoor—a decisive strike against terror that sends a clear message: threats to our nation will never be tolerated. Their courage and sacrifice embody the spirit of a strong and united India. We remain steadfast in our mission to safeguard every inch of our motherland. Jai Hind!,” Singh Deo posted on ‘X”.
Pravati Parida also took to X and lauded the armed forces for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor and stressed that a zero tolerance policy must be adopted against terrorism.
The Indian Army on Wednesday said that it has hit nine locations deep inside Pakistan in retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack of April 22 in which 26 people were killed.
“A little while ago, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed,” the army in a press release said.
The Indian Army also posted on its official X handle, “Justice is Served. Jai Hind.”
“Altogether, nine (9) sites have been targeted. Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in the selection of targets and the method of execution,” the army said.
It added that these steps come in the wake of the barbaric Pahalgam terrorist attack in which 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were murdered.
