Oppo Reno 4 Pro With 65W Super VOOC Charging Launched; Is It Worth It?

New Delhi: Oppo’s new mid-range Reno 4 Pro was launched in India on Friday.

The main highlight of the phone is a 65W Super VOOC charging that fully charges the 4,000 mAh battery in just 36 minutes. The company claims that a 5-minute charge is enough to watch four hours of YouTube videos.

The Oppo Reno 4 Pro is priced at Rs 34,999 for the lone 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. As part of the launch offer, there’s a 10 per cent cashback offer from select banks. There are also offers on Oppo Care plus, Oppo Upgrade, and No Cost EMI.

It has a 6.5 inch Super AMOLED 90Hz Curved display, Snapdragon 720G processor, quad-camera with 48MP main sensor + 2MP mono-colour sensor + 8-MP Ultra wide-angle camera + 2-MP macro camera, and a 32-MP selfie camera. A point to note is that the screen is super bright at 1,100 nits and is certified to stream 1080p Netflix content with Dolby Atmos.

It is 7.7mm thick and weighs 161g.

It has been launched in Starry Night and Silky White colours, both in a matte finish.

Our Take:

Like most of Vivo and Oppo devices, the Oppo Reno 4 Pro is slightly unpowered than the competition considering it uses a slower processor than its lower-priced cousin OnePlus Nord. But where it makes up for is the 65W Super VOOC, which is currently the fastest charging phone available in India. Also, the screen is super bright.
