Bhubaneswar: The result of the Odisha Teacher’s Eligibility Test (OTET)-2024 was announced on Friday. The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, which conducted the examination, declared the result was declared the result through its official website at bseodisha.ac.in.
Aspirants can visit the official website and check their result. Successful candidates can download their digitised certificates from the website. The unsuccessful candidates can download their scanned OMR Answer Sheet, which will be available on the website till November 29.
Aspirants need to visit bseodisha.ac.in and go to latest updates where the result is displayed. After clicking, they will be re-directed to results.indiaresults.com where they have to enter their roll number and mobile number to see the results.
The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) was held on August 17, 2024, at various examination centres across the state. The candidates, who aspired to become teachers participated in the examination.
The OTET examination was divided into two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Candidates who wish to teach primary school children from Class 1 to 5 appeared for Paper 1 while those who aspired to teacher the higher school from Class 6 to 8 had to appear for Paper II.
The minimum qualifying marks for the OTET have been set at 60% for General category which is around 90 marks from the total 150. For candidates hailing from SC, ST, OBC and SEBC, the qualifying marks are set at 50%.
Steps to check OTET results:
1. Visit official website bseodisha.ac.in
2. Click on the link for OTET 2024 result
3. Enter your roll number and other necessary details
4. After entering the details, click on the ‘submit’ button. Your OTET 2024 result will be displayed on the screen.
5. Then you can download and take a printout.
